Changes in Air Temperature and Snow Cover in Winter in Poland

The primary objective of the paper was to characterize climatic conditions in winter season Poland years 1966/67–2019/20. study based on daily values minimum (Tmin) and maximum air temperature (Tmax), snow cover depth. showed an increase both Tmin Tmax winter. most intensive changes were recorded north-eastern northern regions. coldest winters first half analyzed multiannual period, exceptionally cold being 1969/70 1984/85. warmest occurred second period among seasons with highest mean Tmax, particularly 2019/20 1989/90 stood out.
